Now shit is getting real, it is no longer just and idea or a plan. It is no joke to bicycle in Australia. Naively from the boys to believe something else, but what could be so difficult? Everybody knows how to ride a bike!

DAY 1:
From Adelaide airport to Bel Air Caravan park. Approximately 15 Kilometers and the boys didn’t even care to change to bicycle outfits because it was a such a short distance. But… that backfired massively. Without any food or any water they left Adelaide airport and went out of the city center. It all went so smooth – until they realized that the last 5 k’s was pure climbing. Both blood taste in their mouths and lactic in their thighs came way to early. They soon realize they are just regular guys, with normal office jobs, that don’t have a habit of bicycling, neither to work or as a activity on their spare time.

At the first break they both lay down on the sidewalk, ironically enough next to a cemetery. “Might as well just be laying there right now” Lasse says while looking over at the tombstones 3 meters away from them. He turns around while whining about pain.

Eventually they both arrive at Bel Air Caravan Park, with their tongues on their knees and hands on the handlebars. They treated themselves with two fanta, that tasted better than ever. After the rough start the boys thought “what have we done?!?”

After a few difficulties, the gps is now working as it should. To see their movements just click gps tracking in the main menu and then click the link on that site (https://share.delorme.com/awesomestralia)

On this site you will have a menu to your left, pick awesomestralia and zoom in and out depending on what you want to see.

Note: the reason why Trygve Kjensli (Anders’ brother) is there is because we are borrowing his gps.

Guess we got all those questions answered then.
