DAY 39

The Friday was the day they relaxed after fixing the Anders Iphone and delivering both bikes to service. They didn’t do much, but some things happened. For example Lasse saying that “this is a bot awkward but I have to check something”. Lasse crosses the street and leaves Anders behind. Anders goes to a kiosk and buys some candy and something cold to drink. He sits down on the sidewalk and suddenly gets a message. “Gonna do some waxing, will take around 20 minutes” . Anders looks across the street and sees “beauty saloon”. Anders thinks, is this really happening. Yes it is, and in usual Lasse habits it did take more than 20 minutes.

After Lasse’s feminine makeover they stopped at the bottle shop and bought a box of Corona. Quite feminine beer, but now the image as tough boys was thin so they might as well enjoy some light easy drinkable beers.

The sit at the balcony, drink beers, eats pizza, drinks rose wine and listens to music. The hours goes by and the go to bed at 4 am.

On Saturday they woke up and didn’t to much except being on their phones. The weather is good and Anders goes to post two letters he should have posted in Melbourne. The que at the post office is enormous and in 30 minutes Anders waits while looking at slow customer service and everybody that is posting presents before Christmas.

Lasse has a sports massage session at 2 pm to relieve the pains in his thighs. Wit waxing, fixed eyebrows and 2 hour long massage the demands for performance on the bike will increase Anders informs Lasse. The bikes they delivered for service is one day delayed. The history from Melbourne repeats itself. Lasse need new spokes and the rear break was broken. That means another resting day in Sydney. Good for the body but it will be even harder to get back on the bike.

It’s Saturday, summer and school holidays have started. Everybody is out in the streets. The restaurant is filled up, the beach is full of people and the bars are packed. On the grass in the hill, Anders and Lasse lies with the bag full of rose wine and watches out over the beach. They do not have glasses and Lasse asks if it is to redneck to drink from the bottle and Anders replies “yes, we can not do that” so the wine has to wait a bit more.
