Anders and Lasses supportteam is not with them as a Siberia! , but they are not far away. In addition to their 3 sponsors, they have a large support team back in Norway that are available 24/7. The team consist of two doctors, or actually 3 doctors have already been heavily involved. One fysio, one nurse, and two meteorologists. One airport expert and one bicycle expert, is also in Lasse and Anders team. In addition to this the got mentally support from both two and four legged.

The doctors assist by answering all questions that come up about mind, health and injuries. The fysio and nurse recommends treatment and products for exhausted bodies. The meteorologists keeps the boys updated about what kind of weather and wind conditions to expect. The airport expert already did his major part at the airport in Oslo, and the bicycle guys will be available when they run into trouble.

It is many chefs, but not a lot of spilling. Everybody assists with their area of expertise and make sure Anders and Lasse can concentrate on the cycling. The network is there and that’s good, very good!

Anders and Lasse first night was spent at Nelson Cottage. An old and nice inn with plenty of rooms. The breakfast was served and Lasse and Anders where the only guests there – a whole house to themselves. Luxury.

The afternoon was mostly spent on their phones, a short walk to the kiosk and carbonara for dinner again. Both Anders and Lasse helped themselves a lot of the free tea section. The went to bed with the electrical bed heater on maximum. It was good night sleep and now 70 k’s to Portland awaits.
